Laemsor Residence: different homes on Samui’s quieter south coast

A beachfront collection where the booked house determines space, bathrooms and pool privacy.

A southern Samui beach base

Laemsor Residence is at 72/4 Moo 4 in Na Mueang, on Koh Samui’s south coast. It is described as beachfront accommodation in a residential setting, with a different rhythm from the island’s busier resort centres. Guests repeatedly value the quiet setting and personal assistance.

It is a collection of homes rather than one uniform room product. That distinction is especially important for families and groups: the number of bedrooms does not by itself settle the bathroom arrangement, living space or whether a pool is private.

Choose the house, not just the collection name

Published categories include a two-bedroom house, two-bedroom bungalow, three-bedroom villa and four-bedroom house. Kitchens and terraces appear in the house categories. Pool arrangements differ: some larger categories explicitly list a private pool, while that feature should not be extended to every unit.

The accommodation descriptions also give different bathroom counts. A smaller home can therefore have a different sharing arrangement from another two-bedroom option. The appropriate comparison is between the actual homes offered, rather than assuming that a photograph of one larger villa defines the whole residence.

Recent guests on the setting and service

Alan James C’s October 2026 account praised Jana’s help and the quiet beach setting. Florian, writing in September about the Diamond Villa, liked the clean house, beach and pool, but reported Wi-Fi working reliably only in some places. Stacey’s April visit involved a larger villa and helpful hosting with privacy.

These accounts give the residence a personal-service character, with a practical qualification for someone planning to work online. Florian’s Wi-Fi experience belongs to that home and visit rather than proving that every accommodation has the same connection problem.

The value of having a car

RosieandKevin’s August 2025 review describes a July stay with two children. The family enjoyed the view, pool, house and helpful owners. They regarded the area as remote and found their hire car made the holiday easier. That is a useful explanation of how the quiet setting worked in practice.

The attraction and the transport question are connected. A less crowded beach base can offer exactly the separation a family wants, while visits elsewhere on Samui require more planning. Laemsor makes most sense when the house and coast are central to the holiday, with wider island trips treated as outings.
