A house in the Wat Ket neighbourhood

Bedtini Guesthouse is at 124 Charoen Raj Road in Wat Ket, across the river from Chiang Mai’s Old City. The building’s wooden-house character is a more particular reason to consider it than an extensive resort-style facilities list. The neighbourhood and the accommodation’s small scale were recurring attractions in earlier guest reports.

The operator describes seven rooms, mostly upstairs; another listing gives six. Confirm the offered room and floor, particularly if stairs would be difficult.

Room character and basic comforts

A separate property description lists themed rooms, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, cable television, bottled water and toiletries. The operator also lists private bathrooms.

Johnjkirk’s August 2016 report praised wooden floors, high ceilings, clean bathrooms and help from the manager. CasieMartin’s January 2017 account also liked spacious accommodation and welcoming hosts.

For anyone drawn to an individual wooden-house room, current photographs of the particular room are more useful than assuming its earlier furnishings remain.

Road position and bed choice matter

A November 2016 family stay, reviewed that December, found rooms clean and comfortable but warned about traffic on a road without a walking path and possible noise in road-facing rooms.

Kong77’s November 2017 review described booking a double but being offered a twin after a reported toilet problem. Confirm the bed arrangement; that incident does not establish a current policy.

Choose the room by the features you actually need: a double or twin bed, position relative to the road, and the number of stairs. These are consequential differences within a small house, even when rooms share the same guesthouse name.

A modest stay with details to confirm

Breakfast descriptions differ between listings. Establish the meal, arrival process and any transport charges when booking.

Bedtini is most relevant when the Wat Ket address and wooden-house atmosphere suit the visit. The guest reports are historical; present room photographs and written bed allocation provide a clearer basis for choosing today.
