Pattaya from the reservoir side

East Shore Pattaya Resort is at Mabprachan Lake in the Nong Prue and Pong area, east of central Pattaya. The reservoir address is the starting point for understanding it. The property promotes cycling, golf, horse riding and MotoX, giving it a different purpose from a hotel chosen mainly for immediate access to the seafront.

That setting can be an advantage when the day is organised around the lake or activities outside the city centre. It also means that a beach visit or evening in central Pattaya is a separate outing. The name Pattaya covers a wider area than the beach road, and East Shore’s appeal is tied to this inland side.

Three room descriptions with useful differences

The official room list gives the Deluxe Room a floor area of 26 square metres, a super-king bed and a sofa. The Studio is listed at 35 square metres, also with a super-king bed and sofa. The Twin Room is 24 square metres with two single beds. These distinctions are more informative than a general promise of spacious accommodation.

All three descriptions include air conditioning, a fan, cable television, hot shower and tea-and-coffee facilities. The Studio’s extra floor area gives it a clearer role for someone expecting to spend more time in the room. Travelling friends who prefer separate beds have a specifically named Twin option.

A sofa should not automatically be counted as an extra sleeping place. Although one family review mentions children using fold-out couches, the official room descriptions do not turn every sofa into a confirmed bed allocation. The arrangement of that family’s visit belongs to their particular rooms.

A family visit built around cycling

RunLympyRun’s April 2021 account is especially useful in explaining the location. The family came for cycling and hiking, found the Mabprachan cycling loop across the road and used the parking area for their bicycles. Their children enjoyed the small pool, and the room’s ceiling fans were appreciated.

The family occupied two rooms with a hallway and an outer door that allowed more privacy between them. That was an arrangement they found helpful during a one-night visit. It should not be described as a connecting-room guarantee, but it shows how the property worked for that family’s short activity break.

The pool and the social side

The published facilities include a swimming pool and bar, and the official website identifies a restaurant-and-bar offer. These provide somewhere to spend time back at the resort after being out around the lake. They do not establish a particular meal plan or that breakfast is included in every rate.

The 2021 family ate at a local diner during their visit. Their account makes the stay sound flexible rather than dependent on an extensive in-house dining programme. For a guest planning active days, a comfortable room and a pool between outings may be the more relevant combination.

More recent reports, with a qualification

Andrew’s February 2025 account praised a comfortable room and the pool. Craig, writing in January 2025, liked the spacious rooms and friendly staff and considered the property clean. Barry Nolen’s April 2026 report also highlighted helpful staff and cleanliness.

A January 2026 guest, Thibault, found the place relaxed but reported a missing shower towel and difficulty closing a door from inside. That is a specific equipment-and-service complaint from one stay. It belongs alongside the positive comments rather than being erased by them or extended into a claim about every room.

A clear reason to choose this address

East Shore works most convincingly as a reservoir-area base. Its room choices and small-pool setting support a trip centred on Mabprachan and its surroundings. The positive activity-focused family account and newer comfort comments give that proposition substance, while the 2026 maintenance complaint adds a practical qualification.

The distinction between the Twin Room and larger Studio also makes the accommodation easier to match to a particular party.
