Recognise both property names
Baan Long Beach now appears as The Last Paradise on Tripadvisor and Expedia. Both retain the earlier Baan Long Beach name in their descriptions, linking the old and new listings. The Tripadvisor address is 179 Long Beach, Sala Dan, Koh Lanta. Keep both names with your reservation details when arranging arrival.
The accommodation is best approached as a bungalow-style base in the Long Beach area. A garden setting and terrace space are part of the appeal, but the evidence does not establish that every room has a sea view or that guests step directly from their door onto the sand. Check the location of the offered accommodation if beachfront access is essential.
Compare bedrooms and beds carefully
Expedia lists a one-bedroom Comfort Villa for three, with a king and large single; a two-bedroom Family Villa for four, with a king and two singles; and a two-bedroom Signature Villa for five, with two kings and a large single.
Those categories are approximately 45, 70 and 100 square metres respectively. A Standard Double lists a king for two; a Standard Triple Bungalow lists a queen and single for three. Match the category to the actual reservation.
For families sharing accommodation, the number of separate bedrooms can matter as much as total capacity. Establish who will sleep where before comparing the price.
Terraces and everyday comforts
Published facilities include AC, Wi-Fi, parking, laundry, housekeeping, gardens and terraces. The bungalow photograph shows entrance steps; ask about the selected unit if access matters.
An older family guest mentioned a refrigerator and kettle, but that does not establish a kitchen. Anyone planning meals at home needs an equipment list for the booked unit.
What earlier visitors reported
Gary B’s January 2023 couple’s review described clean, comfortable, modern bungalows and a peaceful atmosphere. Ger’s December 2022 account similarly praised a clean, spacious room and welcoming host, and reported renting a scooter through the property.
Sharon Z, writing in January 2020 about a Standard Triple Bungalow shared with a son, described clean accommodation and help with laundry, scooters, tours and ferry tickets. MaryM’s December 2019 family account liked the beds, air conditioning, refrigerator and terrace but reported weak bathroom water pressure and occasional music from nearby bars.
These reports explain the property’s earlier appeal without establishing today’s services or condition. A past arrangement for a scooter or ferry ticket is not a standing inclusion, and the older water-pressure observation does not prove a continuing problem. Ask directly about anything that would affect your choice.
A clear fit for an independent beach stay
The strongest reason to consider Baan Long Beach is the combination of a bungalow setting and several family sleeping arrangements in the Long Beach area. Before booking, settle the exact category, bathroom details, arrival instructions under the current name and any transport assistance you need. That makes the stay easier to judge on its own practical features.
